How we cut it

A short is won or lost in the first frame and the last. Hook, hold, pay off, and captions that carry the whole thing on mute.

How we cut itMethod, not volume

Vertical has no runway. The first frame is the hook.

Short form

08–12h
  • The strongest frame in the footage becomes frame one, wherever it occurred.
  • The subject is composed inside the safe area, not centred and then cropped.
  • Captions are burned, weighted and timed to the stress of the word.
  • The loop is built deliberately: the last frame hands back to the first.

Faceless

40–52h
  • A visual vocabulary is set before the build and held for the whole video.
  • Every claim in the script gets a corresponding move on screen.
  • Stock is graded to one look so it stops reading as stock.
  • Silence is used. Wall-to-wall motion is the same as no motion.
